On November 8, from 12 noon to 4 p.m., fathers and grandfathers will be celebrated at Sahanlahti with Restaurant Koskivahdin's traditional Father's Day lunch. The festive and abundant lunch table will serve delicious seasonal flavors and the finest ingredients from our local area.
The price for the festive buffet is €47,50 per person (children aged 4–12 eat for half price).

Starters
The buffet table offers a wide selection of fresh and hearty delicacies made from local ingredients:
- Green salad with berry vinaigrette (DF, GF)
- Traditional Finnish pickled cucumber salad (DF, GF)
- Pickled chanterelles (DF, GF)
- Terrine made from Fisherman Laine’s pike with tzatziki (L, GF)
- Cured Puumala salmon with dill and horseradish crème (DF, GF)
- Smoked vendace mousse (L, GF)
- Putkisalo lamb pastrami with rosemary and lingonberry compote (DF, GF)
- Beetroot terrine with goat cheese crème (L, GF)
- Wild mushroom salad (L, GF)
- House potato salad (L, GF)
- Roasted butternut squash salad (L, GF)
- Bread from Saha's own bakery:
- Spelt sourdough bread and malt bread (L) with whipped butter (L, G)
Main courses
The best possible, prepared in our kitchen from high-quality local ingredients:
- Beef brisket with pink peppercorn sauce (L, GF)
- Smoked Puumala salmon with yogurt sauce (L, GF)
- Herb and honey-roasted root vegetables (DF, GF)
- Herb-roasted country-style potatoes (DF, GF)
The celebration ends with a sweet finale
- Raspberry chocolate cake (L)
- Organic coffee and TeaHouse of Wehmais' brewed tea
- Fresh blueberry juice
