in your own car
Sahanlahti Resort is located along Highway 62 and the drive to us is quick and easy.
Parking in Sahanlahti is free of charge. If you are just leaving your car in the parking lot and going cycling or boating, we recommend the parking area in the Sahankylä cottage village. In winter, this parking area also has electrical outlets for heating your car. Those who have reserved a boat mooring have their own parking area on the shore. Also buses have their own marked parking area.
Sahanlahti also has electric car charging station,
which is available to our guests free of charge.
The plug is type 2 and 11 kW and you can get a charging card from the reception. Charging is provided in cooperation with Auto-kilta and Sahanlahti Resort.
Close by train
and by bus
Sahanlahti is also easy to reach by public transport, as bus stops are located in both directions right next to the Sahanlahti courtyard area. The fastest and best connection is to arrive by train to Mikkeli and change to a bus at the travel center. The Mikkeli train station and bus station are next to each other.

Sahanlahti is easy to reach by boat, ship, or hydrofoil. We are located a short distance from the Puumala deep water channel, and you can also reach us from the Gulf of Finland via the Saimaa Canal.
