Saturday Sauna
Niskalampi Winter Sauna – a Warm Path to Peace and Wellbeing
Winter sauna every Saturday (except on Koko Kansan Saunapäivä dates listed below).
The winter and ice-swimming season at Sahanlahti begins on Saturday, December 6th.
The wood-heated Niskalampi sauna, known for its soft, gentle steam, is a place where time slows down and the mind can rest. Its soothing warmth has been described as almost therapeutic – no wonder many call it “the therapy sauna.”
When you step onto the benches, the heat melts into your muscles and your thoughts grow quiet. Then, as you dip into the cold lake water, your body awakens, your circulation boosts, and your mind feels crystal clear. Together, sauna and ice swimming are a natural way to release stress – a moment where body and mind find perfect balance.
Warmth, cold, and silence – that’s the simple formula for wellbeing you can’t bottle. Here at Sahanlahti, it’s part of the experience that grows from nature’s peace and genuine good feeling.
