Some families come to Sahanlahti for a child's very first fishing trip. For others, fishing is a tradition shared across generations. Either way, our experienced guides make the day easy, safe and enjoyable for everyone.

Family members can spend the day on Lake Saimaa together or choose different activities. While some head out fishing, others may enjoy a quiet walk, relax in the sauna, practise yoga or simply spend time by the lake.

In the afternoon, everyone comes back together. Children can learn how fish are prepared, stories from the lake are shared and the day's catch becomes part of the evening meal.

The day ends around the same table with fresh Lake Saimaa fish, local flavours and time spent together.

This is more than a fishing holiday. It is a chance to create memories together in the unique surroundings of Lake Saimaa.
