Sahanlahti is a great place to enjoy outdoor activities all year round.

We rent out a wide range of recreational equipment. Depending on the season, you can use electric bikes, kick scooters, snowshoes, touring skates, a padel court and equipment, walking poles, rowing boats, canoes, and SUP boards.

Winter activities

CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING AND SKATING

When ice conditions permit, every winter we volunteer to prepare a skating rink and cross-country ski trail on the ice off the coast of Sahanlahti. Both the skating rink and cross-country ski trail start at the Sahanlahti harbor, and the length of the trails depends on winter conditions. In the best case scenario, our guests can enjoy a 6 km skating track and ski trail that extends all the way to Särkiranta. Currently, there is approximately 2.2 km of skating and skiing trails on the ice. Please note that the skating and skiing trails have been created by volunteers, so the condition of the trails may vary depending on the conditions.
