Elsanranta Villa

Sahanlahti Elsanranta features ten luxury villas for two, set on a private peninsula that feels almost like an island. The natural surroundings have been preserved in their original state, and the peninsula is reached via a private road lit year-round.

At Elsanranta, guests can immerse themselves in the beauty of Lake Saimaa while enjoying first-class services, modern design, and sustainable choices — a combination that ensures a truly unique Saimaa experience.

Eight villas offers unobstructed lake views that can be enjoyed from the terrace, the sauna, or the private Drop pool. two villas has partial lake view. The villas include a bedroom, a living area, a bathroom with an adjoining sauna, and a spacious terrace with outdoor seating. From the large deck and pool, guests can admire the starlit sky — and with a little luck, even spot the rare Saimaa ringed seal.

Designed for two, the villas feature interiors inspired by the surrounding nature. Built from sustainable materials with energy-efficient solutions, they are connected by wooden walkways and arranged to ensure complete privacy.

Guests have free use of bicycles, a rowing boat, and kick sledges to travel between Elsanranta and Sahanlahti’s restaurants and services. The restaurants are just a few hundred meters away — a pleasant short row in summer or a fun kick sledge ride in winter. Each villa also has its own spacious parking area with electric vehicle charging points.

During the winter season, villa guests can enjoy late check-out on Sundays until 16:00 (instead of the usual 12:00).

For added comfort, each villa includes a small drinks cabinet with coffee, tea, and mineral water, a minibar, pampering bath products, a sauna with an “always ready” stove, and soft bathrobes and slippers.
