A leisurely summer day in Sahanlahti, enjoying the delicacies of the Rantamakasiini summer restaurant, is an experience like no other. While you feast, watch the peaceful harbor traffic, enjoy the nearby swimming beach, admire the sparkling waves of Lake Saimaa, listen to the birds singing, and forget about everyday life.
We do not take table reservations for groups of less than 10 people at Rantamakasiini. Please note that the kitchen closes 30 minutes before the restaurant closes.
The Rantamakasiini has closed its doors for this summer season and will reopen in summer 2026.

The magnificent, rustic and romantic Rantamakasiini offers an excellent setting for life's big celebrations.
The interior and exterior spaces of the warehouse can accommodate parties for 50-150 people, and the total space can be adapted for events for up to 400 people.
