Rent equipment from us and get moving

Sahanlahti is a great place to enjoy outdoor activities all year round.

We rent out a wide range of recreational equipment. Depending on the season, you can use electric bikes, kick scooters, snowshoes, touring skates, a padel court and equipment, walking poles, rowing boats, canoes, and SUP boards.

Spring, summer, and fall activities

Visit Saimaa and explore the beautiful scenery on the award-winning 60 km archipelago route. You can rent electric bikes from us in Sahanlahti.

Bike rental:

  • 4 hours: 50 €
  • 8 hours: 75 €

Rent a canoe and spend a relaxing day paddling from the shore of Niskalampi toward Kaitajärvi. The route offers magnificent narrows, rocky cliffs, and beautiful scenery.

If you would like a guide to accompany you on your trip, please inquire with us at Sahanlahti in advance.

Canoe rental: 45 € / day

Enjoy peaceful rowing on Lake Saimaa or grab a rowboat with a small outboard motor.

Rowboat rental:

  • 4 hours: 32 € / 8 hours: 40 €
  • With motor 4 hours 32 € + fuel

Come and enjoy the wonderful summer weather by the water, either alone or with a friend. Rent a SUP board and test your balance on Lake Saimaa. There are two SUP boards available for rent in Sahanlahti.

SUP board rental:

  • 1 hour: 25 €
  • 3 hours: 70 €

Enjoy great sporting moments and come challenge your friends to a game of padel.

We have one padel court at Sahanlahti, and we also provide rackets and balls.

Padel session:

  • 32 € / 1 hour
  • Ball and racket 4 €
  • 5-session ticket 100 €

Winter activities

When ice conditions permit, every winter we volunteer to prepare a skating rink and cross-country ski trail on the ice off the coast of Sahanlahti. Both the skating rink and cross-country ski trail start at the Sahanlahti harbor, and the length of the trails depends on winter conditions. In the best case scenario, our guests can enjoy a 6 km skating track and ski trail that extends all the way to Särkiranta. Currently, there is approximately 2.2 km of skating and skiing trails on the ice. Please note that the skating and skiing trails have been created by volunteers, so the condition of the trails may vary depending on the conditions.

Bring your own skates and skis or rent skating skates from us.

Explore the winter landscapes surrounding Sahanlahti on the award-winning 60 km archipelago route, on the ice of Lake Saimaa, or in the depths of the winter forest.

Enjoy the frosty winter days and unforgettable scenery on snowshoes.
